5MinuteConsult is an online resource that is designed to help health care professionals and clinical students make evidence-based decisions by providing information that is needed at the point-of-care.

ACCESS: To use certain features of 5MinuteConsult, you must create an account. Creating an account is necessary for earning CME/CE credits, using the mobile app, and personalizing patient handout files. This can be done one of two ways.

Remote / Off-site:

1. Click on the link to visit remote authenticated 5MinuteConsult link.
2. Login with your OCOM.org email address and password used for your email.
3. Click on the Create A Free Personal Account button on the right.
4. At the Account Information page, enter the required information and then click Save & Continue at the bottom of the screen.
   • IMPORTANT: Please use your OCOM.org email address
5. Once complete, you will be taken to the 5MinuteConsult page and you will be logged in. (See the green banner at the top of the website.)

While on OCOM campus:

1. Click on the link to visit the 5MinuteConsult website.
2. At the 5MinuteConsult website, click on the Create A Free Personal Account button on the right.
3. At the Account Information page, enter the required information and then click Save & Continue at the bottom of the screen.
   • IMPORTANT: Please use your OCOM.org email address
4. Once complete, you will be taken to the 5MinuteConsult page and you will be logged in. (See the green banner at the top of the website.)
